Orange Sorbet Recipe Ingredients for 6 people * 200g Caster Sugar * 250ml Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice * 375ml Water * Zest of 3 Oranges * 1 Lemon - Juice of Method 1. In a saucepan mix together the sugar, water, and orange zest. 2. Stir over a moderate heat until the sugar has dissolved. 3. Turn up the heat to full, and bring to the boil. 4. Let the liquid boil for 6 - 8 minutes and a syrup has formed. 5. Remove from heat and allow to cool. 6. Add the fruit juices, and pour this mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until ready. 7. If you prefer you can pour the mixture into a plastic container and put it into the freezer. 8. After an hour take it out and give the mixture a good stir. Repeat this every hour, it will get slushier after every stir. 9. When it is the right consistency (It will scoop) serve straight away, or put into a lidded container and store in the freezer until required. 10.
