Caprese Salad Recipe Ingredients for 4 people * 4 Large Ripe tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick * 500 gram / 1lb Buffalo Mozzarella sliced 1/4 inch thick * A good handfull of Fresh Basil Leaves * A good pinch of Salt * Ground Black Pepper * Traditionally a good quality olive oil and vinegar is used for dressing or you could use our own Vinaigrette Recipe, 4/5 tablespoons. Method 1. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on a serving plate. Sprinkle with a little salt. (This helps to bring out the juices.) 2. Insert the sliced mozzarella between each slice of tomato. 3. Garnish the whole salad with fresh basil leaves. 4. Grind over some black pepper. 5. Evenly spoon over the olive oil and vinegar or Vinaigrette Dressing. 6. If you have time its a good idea to let the salad sit in the fridge for 20 minutes to really develope the juices and flavours. 7.
